From Failure to Favor

Jeremiah 29:11 (New International Version)

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
I was sitting here examining my life and patterns that have shown up through out it, when it hit me often times what looks like failures was actually God’s favor! He favored me with failure, I know that may sound like a total contradiction but keep reading and you’ll get it.
If I had succeeded in the plans of “my” own making I would have missed the plans of God’s making which far exceeded mine. If the doors I wanted opened wouldn’t have closed I couldn’t have walked through the doors God opened specifically for me. Today I am thanking God for every act of favor that was disguised as failure, because in MY failures HE was perfecting all that pertained to me! Psalm 138:8

He was placing things in order yesterday for what I needed for today. He saw and understood the path that He has called me to walk in. He designed my destiny so he had to allow some things to “fail” in order for me to “succeed” in other things. His entire will and goal for me is to produce in abundance in Him. Too bear fruit in His kingdom and for His will and purpose.
Phil. 2:13

Romans 8:28 says: And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [his] purpose. This assures us that ALL things are working for our good, even when it feels like it’s not. Look at Joseph, he was sold into slavery by his own brothers, falsely accused and unfairly imprisoned for many, many years YET God was working His favor in all of it. Can you imagine the days he must have spent in misery wondering what he could have done differently or how different his life might have been had he just not said this, or not been there? Little did He know, God was setting him up for the salvation and deliverance of His people from a sure death due to famine.

Some of you are lamenting the loss of things that where actually open doors to God’s gain. Go back and examine the things you thought you failed at in the past and see How God has turned them into favor. Some relationships you thought you failed at but look at the relationship you now have with God. Look at the relationships He is building through you for Him out of the ashes of your brokenness. Some of you thought your heart would die when “that” love ended but look at the Love He has blessed and immersed you in now, the very Love of Christ! Look at how you now walk in and show daily the Agape Love of HIM who healed and delivered you when man’s love failed.

Someone may have thought you failed at that business but look at where you are today. Others thought that ministry attempt was a failure but look at how you are advancing the kingdom now! Some of you thought you failed in the loss of that job but look at where God has taken you. Some of you have the best jobs of your lives, others started your dream business. Look at how God opened doors on your behalf and for His purpose and Glory. Some have lost homes and you thought it was a failure, oh but look at where God wants to move you to next. It may not look like YOUR dream home, dream neighborhood but trust me God has a plan and He wants to use your life right where he has you, to show His goodness, mercy, love and kindness to those around you.

God always has our best intentions at heart. Isaiah 58:8 tells us His thoughts are not our thoughts neither are our ways, His ways. Therefore he had to allow the failures so His favor could flow through. He understood that our ways would lead to destruction and His intention is for us to live AND declare the works of the Lord.
Proverbs 14:12, Psalms 118:17

Dear Well Watered Women of God be encouraged today that no matter what you are going through, have went through God is able and desires to redeem it for His Good.
Remember your test becomes your testimony, your mess becomes your message and your misery your ministry. He makes ALL things beautiful in His time.

Until next time,

So I’m in the process of getting custody of my 1 year old granddaugter after finally getting all my children in school this year, meaning no more daycare fees :(

When I was given a gift that as it was given I was told that the LORD spoke to this individual and I was the one it should be given to.

I accept the gift within that gift it states the following.
“Gods knows how to give favor after failure”

I asked GOD to reveal this message to me. Struggling for a couple of days now trying to break my head as to what this means to me. I decided to google that exact statement and come across Watered Women.

I’m going to continue searching as my heart beleive there is more to be revealed.

    Thank you
